Brunner furniture sets the scene for playing and learning at the Ventspils Music School.

Work on the new music school in the Latvian city of Ventspils on the Baltic Sea was finally completed in Spring 2019 after around three years. 
Commissioned by the local authorities as part of the city centre transformation project, the impressive building is set right beside a park.
From the outside, the school’s most striking feature is its golden roof. On the inside, it is home to performance spaces open to the public, auditoria, a music library, cafeteria areas, recording studios and plenty of classrooms. The acoustics were a high priority when designing the interior.
