Brunner is a family business from Baden with a passion for functional design furniture that brightens up everyday life in an incredible number of ways for customers worldwide. We develop, produce and bring to market chairs, tables and occasional furniture for the contract sector. Owner-managed and already in the hands of the second generation, we work in accordance with the highest ethical standards and with a sense of responsibility towards our employees, partners, customers, our local region and the environment. We believe in values that keep the past and the future in mind. Since our first order in 1977, we have never shied away from a challenge, and we continue to make the impossible possible time and time again – with innovative solutions that fit perfectly.

Our furnishings for the workplace, seminar and conference rooms, co-working spaces, cafeterias and lounges enable (work) landscapes for communication and cooperation as well as retreat and concentration.

public space

When used, this furniture is a big hit, whether in a large group or a more intimate setting. It shines with purpose and atmosphere on occasions and in architecture in gastronomy, hospitality, congress and large spaces and events.

Our needs-oriented care furniture makes life in care and health facilities easier and more comfortable and convenient thanks to useful features and practical functions while also improving the ambience.

Brunner furniture is used in many different sectors as an all-rounder and specialist with particular features. During its manufacture in Rheinau, Baden, we rely above all else on people to achieve this because quality requires expertise and experience. Great care is taken when creating Brunner furniture at our home. In the background, state-of-the-art technologies support the production of impeccable products made of high-quality, certified materials, which have long brought our customers joy.

We achieve this by working in close collaboration with our customers, taking their requirements and their preferences into consideration. Then, we develop fitting responses – from our multifaceted product portfolio or even as customised special solutions.

BRUNNER OVER THE YEARS

The success story.

1977

The company is founded by Helena and Rolf Brunner.

1978

Construction of the first production hall in Rheinau.

1983

Completion of an additional warehouse measuring 1500 m².

1996

Brunner now employs 200 workers – production expanded by 5000 m².

2004

Dr. Marc Brunner joins the management team.

2005

Brunner opens the communication centre.

2010

Tina Lüdemann (née Brunner) & Philip Brunner join the company.

2013

Swiss Sedorama AG becomes a wholly owned subsidiary.

2016

French subsidiary becomes Brunner SAS. | Production figures rise to 500,000 chairs and 100,000 tables a year.

2017

Sedorama AG becomes Brunner AG Furniture Solution. | Brunner celebrates its 40th anniversary. | The number of employees exceeds 500. | Over 550,000 pieces of foam processed per year.

2018

The Innovation Factory and logistics centre opened.

2023

Philip Brunner joins the management team.
