Innovation meets architecture.
Our Innovation Factory in ‘Traumfabriken’
How can architecture become a driving force for innovation, sustainability and collaboration? The new book Traumfabriken from Prestel Publishing provides impressive answers to this question - with a look at 25 production facilities in German-speaking countries that are rethinking work in a holistic way.
We are delighted that our Innovation Factory at our Brunner Campus is one of the selected projects.
The book focuses on architecture as the key to the modern working world, production and innovation processes are taken into account here, as are communication, sustainability, digitalisation and the integration of life and work. The “dream factories” presented are not just functional buildings - they are places with an identity that inspire, motivate and connect people in their everyday working lives.
The Brunner Innovation Factory - designed by the renowned Munich architecture firm Henn - embodies this very approach. The hybrid building combines a light-flooded assembly hall with a two-storey block, housing the development department, design workshop, seminar rooms, offices and a company restaurant. The clear lines, the visible timber structure and the fully glass facade create a transparent and inviting atmosphere that encourages open dialogue and interdisciplinary collaboration.
"The result is a feel-good space that blends harmoniously into the overall appearance of the campus. Our engineers, external designers and expert suppliers find ideal conditions for interactive product development in the Innovation Factory," says Marc Brunner.
