Modern and transparent new home for the council.

With the old detached building in need of an extension and an upgrade, the council decided to build a new conference and meeting centre onto its existing HQ.  

After 15 months of building work, it was declared officially open in September 2021. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology (including huge video walls) and full disabled access, the building has an impressively modern and transparent design.  
Brunner’s linos chairs for large spaces make sure that everyone is sitting comfortably when they’re here for a meeting, concert or other event. The three-dimensional seat shell with a dip and the ergonomically shaped knee roll promise ultimate comfort for hours on end. The panic-safe row linking device enables linear and radial seating arrangements, so the room set-up can be spot on every time. And everyone can find their seat with ease thanks to the numera evo electronic seat numbering system integrated into the leather seat backs. 
The seating is accompanied by basic folding tables with an innovative stability system and clever Brunner folding mechanism that allows them to be put up and taken down in next to no time.
