New Business Development Manager Singapore
Our latest addition to the Brunner Asia Pacific team.
This week we would like to welcome our new Business Development Manager, Daphne Narraina to the team in Singapore.
Daphne brings years of business development experience to her role and is excited to help the Brunner brand elevate in the region.
To learn a bit more about Daphne and her motivation to join the team, we asked her some questions about her new position...
Q: Tell us a bit about yourself.
A: I am born and raised in Belgium, had a brief experience in Germany and made a move to Singapore 4 years ago. My career path has always been in Sales with a hard focus on customer satisfaction, ranging from Sales manager in the Real Estate industry to recruiting to working as an Air Hostess. On my weekends you can probably find me on the beach, on the golf course or at an alfresco brunch spot! Panamericana in Sentosa is my favourite!
Q: How is your experience at Brunner Asia Pacific so far?
A: The first 2 weeks have been very pleasant and hands-on. Embarking in a new industry they provided me with a solid training program that ranges from technical knowledge to insights into the market. During my first week Jean Paul already introduced me to multiple clients and decision makers, which is very exciting!
Q: Is there a specific reason why you want to work for Brunner Asia Pacific?
A: When I arrived in Singapore 4 years ago, I was working in recruitment and oversaw the Architecture, Interior design, and Project Management desk in Singapore. In these years I started to build a network in the industry which I can use till this day!
Q: As your new position as Business Development Manager, which tasks will you be taking care of?
A: I will be supporting Jean Paul in the Singapore market and help to grow our brand within the industry! On a daily basis I will be in touch with different stakeholders such as designers, project managers and end-clients. My role covers full cycle sale starting from first contact with a client to overseeing the delivery of the order.
Q: What will you be adding to the team?
A: After the thorough training I am confident I can fortify the team with account management, relationship management and further developing the business. Sales within Brunner is towards the consultative approach, something I strongly believe in and have experience in.
Q: Lastly, what is your favorite product of the Brunner portfolio?
A: Brunner latest product “notebook” is a beautiful, compact and flexible product. The pandemic changed our way of working and is constantly looking for new and flexible workstations. I believe the notebook invites collaboration and individuals to produce their best work.
