Responsible use of resources

The natural resources on this planet are valuable, so we need to take a responsible and respectful approach to using the ones we still have access to.

We know that natural resources, especially fossil materials, are only available in limited quantities and are becoming increasingly scarce. We therefore attach great importance to utilising them efficiently and in the sense of a circular economy.

Sustainability in product development.

The intensive study of the various potentials for a more sustainable product development has led us to define five key criteria on which we base our actions.

New perspectives in the world of materials.

Brunner is also constantly researching alternative materials. We identify critical materials and examine factors such as resource scarcity and health impacts. We then continually review possible alternatives and test their feasibility.

One example is the innovative table top Kvadrat Really. It offers a CO₂ and resource-saving alternative for the Brunner series nate, nate s, boards and break. Made from textile waste and bio-based, recycled bonding agents, the material is durable, aesthetically pleasing and fully recyclable.
